Business Funding Specialist

Overview:

Bizsentials Consulting is looking for a Business Funding Specialist to help entrepreneurs and small businesses secure the capital they need to grow. This role requires expertise in funding options, including business loans, grants, lines of credit, and investor relations. The consultant will work closely with clients to assess funding needs, prepare applications, and develop funding strategies that align with their business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assess clients’ financial health and funding readiness.
• Identify the best funding options, including business loans, lines of credit, grants, and investor funding.
• Guide clients through the business loan and grant application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared.
• Assist clients in improving business credit scores and structuring businesses for better funding approval.
• Develop funding strategies that align with business goals, growth plans, and market conditions.
• Educate clients on funding sources, including traditional banks, private lenders, venture capital, and crowdfunding.
• Advise clients on leveraging business credit to access funding without personal guarantees.
• Provide insights on how to use funding effectively for scaling and sustainability.
• Stay updated on the latest small business funding programs, grants, and lending regulations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in business finance, lending, or funding consultation.
• Strong knowledge of business loan processes, credit-building strategies, and grant funding.
• Experience working with small businesses and startups on funding strategies.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare funding applications.
• Strong understanding of business credit and lending requirements.
• Excellent research, financial analysis, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SBA loans, alternative lending, and corporate funding.
• Familiarity with grant writing and investor relations.
• Background in banking, financial advising, or business development.

Compensation & Work Structure:

• Contract-based position with compensation per project or hourly consulting rate.
