Overview:
Bizsentials Consulting is seeking an Accounting Consultant to assist small businesses with financial management, bookkeeping, and tax planning. This consultant will provide expert financial guidance, ensure businesses maintain compliance, and help optimize accounting processes for efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis, bookkeeping, and tax compliance support.
- Assist clients in setting up and optimizing accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Offer financial reporting services, including profit & loss statements, cash flow analysis, and budgeting.
- Ensure tax compliance, including business deductions, estimated taxes, and filing requirements.
- Help businesses develop cost-saving strategies, pricing models, and financial planning.
- Educate clients on accounting best practices, payroll setup, and tax planning.
- Work with business owners to streamline financial operations and improve profitability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial consulting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and small business accounting practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or similar.
- Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and tax strategy development.
- Ability to simplify financial concepts for business owners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, EA, or equivalent accounting certification.
- Experience working with small businesses, startups, or entrepreneurs.
- Background in business taxation, payroll management, and financial auditing.
Compensation & Work Structure:
