Overview:

Bizsentials Consulting is looking for an Estate Planning & Retirement Consultant to help entrepreneurs and small business owners plan for long-term financial security, retirement, and wealth transfer. This consultant will provide guidance on estate planning, asset protection, business succession, and tax-efficient retirement strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, wills, trusts, and asset protection.
  • Assist business owners in developing succession plans for their businesses.
  • Provide retirement planning strategies, including investment options and tax-deferred accounts (IRAs, 401(k)s, SEP IRAs, etc.).
  • Educate clients on minimizing estate taxes and maximizing wealth transfer.
  • Guide entrepreneurs in setting up financial safety nets for business continuity.
  • Work with attorneys and financial planners to create customized legacy plans.
  • Ensure business owners understand buy-sell agreements and key person insurance for business transitions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in estate planning, financial advising, or retirement consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of trusts, wills, and asset protection strategies.
  • Experience advising business owners on succession planning and wealth transfer.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), or similar credentials preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in tax law, probate law, or business law.
  • Experience in structuring family business transitions and generational wealth planning.
  • Knowledge of real estate investment planning and tax optimization.

Compensation & Work Structure:

  • Contract-based position with compensation per project or hourly consulting rate.
  • Fully remote with flexible scheduling.
  • Potential for long-term consulting engagements.
