Overview:

Bizsentials Consulting is seeking a Grant Funding Researcher/Writer to help businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs identify funding opportunities and develop compelling grant proposals. This consultant will conduct research, write grant applications, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Research available grant opportunities at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Analyze eligibility requirements and match clients with appropriate funding sources.
  • Write and edit grant proposals, applications, and letters of intent.
  • Develop comprehensive grant funding strategies for businesses and nonprofits.
  • Ensure grant applications meet deadlines, compliance standards, and funder expectations.
  • Track and maintain records of grant submissions and funding outcomes.
  • Provide post-grant reporting assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in grant writing and research.
  • Proven success in securing funding for businesses or nonprofit organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and private grant programs.
  • Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop persuasive narratives that align with funding priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with government grants, SBA funding, and philanthropic grants.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial planning for grant proposals.
  • Familiarity with funding databases like Grants.gov and Foundation Directory.
